Delivery Examples

Hospital

Split-Type Chiller

A split-type chiller was introduced for a site with limited outdoor space.

We delivered a split-type chiller to a hospital facility. While chillers are usually installed entirely outdoors, this is a “split-type” chiller with separate indoor and outdoor units.

Concerns and Requests

・The outdoor installation space was extremely limited, making it difficult to install a conventional all-in-one chiller.

・Noise reduction was also a concern, so it was necessary to minimize noise from the outdoor unit.

Key Points

・By using a split-type configuration with separate indoor and outdoor units, we proposed a design that minimizes the required outdoor footprint.

・Placing noise-generating equipment indoors also helps reduce noise impact on the surrounding environment.

・The indoor and outdoor units are connected via refrigerant piping, ensuring safe operation without freezing concerns, even in cold climates.

Laboratory

100 V Chiller

A 100 V chiller was introduced for environments where 200 V electrical work is not feasible.

We delivered a chiller capable of operating on 100 V to a university laboratory. Installation was completed smoothly without the need for 200 V electrical work.

Concerns and Requests

・The building’s infrastructure does not allow 200 V electrical installation

・High cooling capacity is required

・Ease of installation is important

Key Points

・We proposed a compact 100 V chiller, enabling installation without performing 200 V electrical work.

・The temperature and flow can be easily adjusted to match the target analytical equipment.

・Equipped with indoor placement and casters with stoppers, the unit can be moved easily.

Hospital

Soundproof Hood

A soundproof hood was installed on a chiller at a hospital located adjacent to residential areas.

We delivered and installed a soundproof hood for the hospital’s cooling water circulation system (chiller).

Concerns and Requests

・The chiller is installed close to residential buildings, requiring careful consideration of noise

・Minimizing noise impact on nearby residents, especially during nighttime operation, is important

Key Points

・By installing sound-absorbing material inside the hood, operational noise is significantly reduced compared to a standard hood.

・Considering the placement of the outdoor unit and the surrounding environment, we proposed a layout that minimizes noise impact.

Laboratory

Clean Booth

A large clean booth, measuring 2 m × 2 m, was introduced, allowing both laboratory equipment and researchers to enter.

We delivered a large clean booth to a university laboratory, designed to accommodate both experimental equipment and researchers.

Concerns and Requests

・The booth needed to be designed to prevent gases generated by experimental equipment from accumulating in the room

Key Points

・The optimal structure was designed considering the experimental equipment and installation environment

・The booth was constructed in a size that allows researchers to enter (Dimensions: 2 m × 2 m × 2 m)

Hospital

Mist Device Installation

A mist device was installed on a chiller operating in a heat-prone environment.

We installed a mist device with a refrigerant gas temperature sensor on the hospital’s cooling water circulation system (chiller).

Concerns and Requests

・The chiller is installed in areas with poor ventilation or direct sunlight, causing unstable operation during summer

・The outdoor unit may draw in heat from surrounding equipment, reducing cooling efficiency in such harsh conditions

・Measures were needed to address recent extreme heat

Key Points

・The mist device was installed on the chiller’s condenser to provide auxiliary heat exchange.

・Even in locations with poor ventilation, direct sunlight, or exposure to exhaust heat from surrounding outdoor units, the mist device uses evaporative cooling to help suppress overheating of the chiller.
